Rantings of a 20 something
After I wrote the post on creating your own home boot camp, I realized you all could still participate in MY boot camp! Read on to find out how.
I’m so excited to announce the first-ever virtual Healthista Boot Camp! Starting today through the end of July, you can take part in a virtual…
This is actually pretty cool. If I find the time tomorrow, I hope I can get started with it.
1. Just because someone has an expensive camera doesn’t mean that they’re a good photographer.
2. Always shoot in RAW. Always.
3. Prime lenses help you learn to be a better photographer.
4. Photo editing is an art in itself
5. The rule of thirds works 99% of the time.
6. Macro photography…

Uh ohs
The good thing about possibly working for a somewhat famous person is that you can find things out about them from the internet.
ie, baseball players. He had the flu on Monday. Canceled our interview. Turns out he has been in the hospital for two days with some sort of infection that they are not sure what the cause is or what’s wrong.
Good to know.
Oh hey thoughts, you sound lovely when put to song.
Are you implying that I’m cheesy? If so, whatever. If you are simply bragging that you have a big bowl of cheese, then congrats.

Not this morning
Definitely did not get up to work out, even though I woke up before my alarm. I couldn’t get myself out of bed. Oh well, still planning on a run afterwards and at least that’s something.
Pretty exhausted today. Should’ve let my nails be and went to bed early. Oh well, I’ll have time to sleep next week hopefully.
Over it
After venting to a few several people about the ridiculousness of my professor, I will resist it here because I just don’t feel like typing it all out, again.
But I will talk about the highlights of my day: getting to sleep in an extra hour when I was expecting to be at work at 9 not 10; making breakfast and pre-run snack and a shower; a pretty quiet day at work including a happy visit and a possible new family for date night sitting; finally a run I felt pretty good about; delicious sushi from harris teeter; (TWO HOURS OF PURE HATRED); a nice calming tanning session; a yummy homemade burger for dinner; picked up frozen yogurt with toppings (to limit eating an entire pint by myself, got self-serve instead); and soon to come: more tv catch up and redoing my nails.
All in all, can’t hate today.
Tomorrow’s goals: Jillian Michaels before work, a run and shower after work, and then a low key night in the city after class. Those things are separated with hopefully a good day at nannying and hopefully a non aggression filled class. Hoping for the best.
Start up
Gearing up for this summer and having free time again: Came home, relaxed, made an important phone call, Jillian Michaels, and now a large healthy salad that is delicious.
I’m ready to keep this going. I’m happy with how I look, could use some toning up, and totally feel like I can motivate enough to do this. Ready to take a picture at the beach without having to “chicken wing” it.
Feeling good.
Would feel better if I had a furry running partner.. haha
